As the first food hall in the region, The Mercado District offered McAllen a vibrant, artisanal community of 28 businesses and 9 distinct eateries showcasing the area's best chefs, crafters, and curators. Its challenge was not only to brand itself as a destination in the community, but also to brand its individual eateries and create a cohesive message for the entire experience.
